In an article for the Chicago Tribune, reporter June Sawyers’ spotlight on Hawaii: An Explorer’s Guide (December 2008) presents the basic premise of the book. A must for any visitor “with time and monetary restrictions to consider,” Hawaii helps readers choose which island(s) to visit. Saying that “author Kim Grant gives each island its due,” Sawyers places the guide in the company of such renowned guidebook titles as Lonely Planet.
